Position Summary:


We're looking for a Project Sales Engineer to help grow our installation division - specializing in either HVAC or Plumbing & Piping solutions. This is a client-facing role for a technically savvy and relationship-driven professional who thrives on turning opportunities into successful projects. If you're motivated by building strong partnerships, solving complex challenges, and seeing your work come to life in the field, this is the role for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with residential and commercial clients.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project needs and recommend the right system or solution.
  • Prepare proposals, technical presentations, and accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - engineering, project management, and service - to ensure smooth handoffs and outstanding project outcomes.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to company growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, energy-efficient technologies, and new product innovations.
  • Participate in kickoff meetings and planning sessions for key projects.

Focus Areas:

HVAC Sales:

  • Promote solutions involving chillers, VRF, RTUs, air handlers, and controls.
  • Provide technical insight for energy-efficient retrofits and replacements.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to prepare accurate proposals.

Plumbing & Piping Sales:

  • Develop system solutions for domestic water, boilers, sanitary, storm, process, and gas piping.
  • Support both new construction and retrofit projects with technical expertise.
  • Translate plans and specs into accurate scopes of work and estimates.


Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing/piping sales.
  • Strong technical understanding and confidence in customer-facing discussions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • Valid driver's license with regular job site travel.
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Eligibility Requirements

  • This position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Employment/education will be verified.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
