Project Scheduler at AppleOne Technical Staffing

We are seeking an experienced Highway Construction Scheduler candidate for a global capital program management and advisory firm that supports major transportation and infrastructure programs. This position is based in Norwalk, CA with a hybrid schedule and focuses on LA Metro highway capital projects.We’re looking for professionals with strong Alternative Delivery experience (Design-Build, PDB, CMAR/CMGC, P3). These delivery models are key in CA for improving collaboration, reducing risk, and accelerating schedules on large infrastructure programs.Role Overview • Develop and maintain P6 schedules for complex highway/heavy civil projects • Build cost- and resource-loaded schedules, sequencing diagrams, and time-scaled charts • Track progress vs. baseline, perform variance/time-impact analyses, and propose mitigation strategies • Review contractor schedules and support project teams with reporting and progress assessments • Produce schedule updates, dashboards, and executive-ready briefing materialsRequirements • 10+ years scheduling heavy civil/highway projects • Strong Primavera P6 experience (v12+), including cost/resource loading • Background with large public agency work (LA Metro a plus) • Degree in CM, Engineering, or related field • Clear communication skills and strong attention to detailCompensation & Details • Salary: $176,800–$208,000 + annual bonus • Full-time hybrid role • Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, company-paid life/disability, optional supplemental plans, 401(k) with day-one eligibility + match, PTO, and 10 paid holidays • Target start: January 2026
