Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProject Traffic Engineerms consultants, inc.Raleigh, NCWe are looking for a Project Traffic Engineer to complement our Transportation team in our Raleigh, NC office. The position will involve work directly with staff including engineers, technicians and administrative staff on pursuit, development, and execution of traffic engineering projects. You will work with many different ms team members within the Transportation Business Unit.About the Transportation Business UnitThe Transportation Business Unit provides transportation engineering services for all project types and scopes, from the largest interstate systems to local municipality roads. Some of the services provided include roadway and intersection design, corridor improvements, bridge replacement and rehabilitation, and environmental documentation. Our traffic, highway, structural, and environmental planning engineers work collaboratively to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and long-term transportation solutions.What You'll Do:The primary focus of the role will be as follows:Perform traffic analysis and preparation of traffic studies, safety and reportsTraffic Signal Design and Plan preparationSigning and Pavement Marking Plan preparationTraffic Management Plan preparationProvide assistance with feasibility studies, environmental planning documents, and proposing changes for highway projects to improve traffic efficiency and safety.Leading designated task assignments and reporting progress to senior staffOversee final project plan and document preparationCommunicate with clients and potential clients to obtain and execute projects to client satisfactionWhat You'll Bring: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or University is required, or equivalent experience.
