The right individual will play a key role in upholding and elevating that standard across all departments.Position Overview: The Joliet Slammers are seeking enthusiastic self-motivated students to be a part of the 2025 season. As an intern you will obtain first-hand experience in the entire operation of a successful professional baseball franchise. A promotion intern would primarily be focused on ensuring the Slammers fans have a wonderful experience by providing exciting & engaging promotions throughout the season via on-field games theme nights customer service community outreach and other opportunities across the organization.Every day is different but a typical day might include:Represent the Joliet Slammers organization partners and sponsors with professionalism pride and enthusiasm at all timesDisplay outstanding teamwork communication skills and an energetic personalityPlanning and executing all aspects of promotions and associated tasksTheme nights on-field entertainment production and moreAssisting with the creation of in-game entertainment especially pertaining to theme nightsWilling to put yourself out thereDancing cheering engaging with the crowdAssisting with production setup for each gameAssisting with PA scripts video board music etcAssisting with stocking cleaning inventory etcAttending various community events/paradesHelp with the day-to-day function of the organization. You may be asked to do several tasks; its part of the all-inclusive experience!The ideal candidate:Are currently attending collegeAre able to work all 51 home games and additional off-site eventsStrong attention to detail & organizational skillsHave the ability to adapt to a fast-paced multi-task work environmentHave superior oral communication. Writing and editing skillsAre highly motivated with a strong work ethicStrong desire to work in a team environmentThis is an unpaid internship for college credit.
