Key responsibilities include:Preparing monthly P&L statements for assigned locationsInputting and verifying financial data in cloud-based accounting software (SAGE 300)Recording general ledger entries and maintaining financial recordsReconciling complex bank accounts on a monthly basisRecording expenses and processing disbursementsManaging weekly AP check runs and cash position reportsMaintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliationsResponding to operational and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting dataCompleting monthly closing cycles and preparing financial statements for multiple propertiesUpholding confidentiality of sensitive financial dataRequired Skills & Abilities:To be successful in this role candidates must have:Experience in hotel accountingStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with owners senior management and property leadersAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environmentExpertise in Balance Sheet accounts including prepaid and accrual accounting schedulesExceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft ExcelDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and follow detailed checklistsIndependence and self-motivation with minimal supervisionHMC is an equal opportunity employer.
