This summer internship at Harmony offers a unique perspective into a rare-disease focused biotech company. Our internship program will provide you the opportunity to work on real-world projects, as well as network with people at Harmony through various events and activities.Summary of Internship: This position will work on the Finance team at Harmony. The various Finance teams at Harmony are responsible for multiple functions such as:Accounting: Financial reporting, financial statement preparation, auditing, and SOX complianceFinancial Planning and Analysis: budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, long range planning, and business partnering with other departments (R&D, Commercial, TechOps, etc...) This internship will work on one or more projects in the areas of: financial analysis, accounting close and reporting, procurement, sales reporting, and/or SOX support and will support the Accounting and Finance teams during month end close, the budgeting and forecasting process, and procurement procedures enhancement. There may also be other projects and initiatives within the team that may require support. Requirements: Minimum age for all candidates is at least 18 years or older Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising sophomore, junior or senior and be majoring in a Business area (Accounting, Finance, etc...)Must be proficient in use of MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS TeamsDemonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills, and ability to work in a team environmentCandidates must have strong written and verbal communication skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision.Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone.Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.#LI-DNI
