We are looking for an experienced Proposal Coordinator to lead pursuit efforts; and to develop high-quality proposals, qualifications submittals, presentations, and other supporting materials. A successful candidate should be a team player with management, writing, editing, and strategic thinking skills. Join a team that contributes to projects that shape communities and spark innovation!Eligible for sign-on bonus!ResponsibilitiesResearch, write, verify, edit, proof, and format high-quality proposal documents, staff resumes, project descriptions, presentations, and marketing collateral ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Coordinate and conduct proposal kick-off meetings with project managers and other team members to strategize and deliver winning proposals/presentationsIdentify pursuit team responsibilities and oversee adherence to the proposal scheduleProvide ongoing communication regarding the proposal status to the teamEnsure compliance with the specific solicitation requirements, industry standards, and RDA guidelinesDevelop and maintain boilerplate materials, i.e. service discipline narratives, project descriptions, resumes, etc. Search for RFPs and monitor future project opportunitiesAttend pre-proposal meetings and conferences, as neededAssist with firm pre-qualifications and registrationsCoordinate and apply for project awards/design submissionsOccasional local travelOther duties as assignedEducation/ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English, Communications, or an industry-related field2-5 years of recent A/E/C industry experience, including preparation of qualifications statements/proposals and expressions of interest in response to RFPs/RFQs as well as shortlist presentations and other marketing materialsA thorough understanding of the proposal development process and knowledge of standard formsAbility to juggle multiple assignments and thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSuperb organization skills and ability to work independently and with a teamExcellent grammar, writing, proofreading, and oral/communication skills are requiredExperience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is requiredExperience with Adobe InDesign is requiredProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud desktop publishing applications (Acrobat Pro DC, CC, Photoshop CC) is preferredGraphic design experience is preferredWhy Join RDA?We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance401K Retirement Plan; Roth ContributionsHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disabilityPaid time off, including 8 federal holidays + 1 floating holidayParental LeaveHybrid work modelProfessional/career development tracksPositive work/life balanceRDA is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug-free workplace.
