Our leadership team is actively creating a culture where innovation, teamwork, and employee development are top priorities.We are currently seeking a Mental Health Professional who holds a Masters degree and is working toward licensure (PLPC or equivalent) in Louisiana.Key Responsibilities:Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions aligned with program schedulesComplete psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plansCollaborate with families, caregivers, and external agenciesParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and staffingsEnsure documentation complies with facility and regulatory standardsProvide crisis intervention and facilitate special case conferences when neededMaintain a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment for patientsUphold all facility policies and regulatory guidelinesRequirements:Education: Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health fieldLicensure: Must hold a current and active license in the state of Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, PLPC, Ect.)Experience:Previous experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations is requiredExperience working with adolescents is strongly preferredFreedom Behavioral provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
