DescriptionChubbs Personal Risk Services (PRS) Premier Underwriting team is seeking an experienced Executive Underwriter to join our dynamic group dedicated to serving high-net-worth individuals and families. As an Executive Underwriter you will play a critical role in delivering expert risk assessment and customized insurance solutions for luxury homes valuable collections vehicles and other significant personal assets.Responsibilities include:Individual risk selection for accounts generating an annual premium of $100000 or greaterAssuming a producer relationship and account leadership role in the achievement of profit growth and retention for Premiere level accountsWorking closely with key producers on all Premier accounts for assigned territoriesAssuring that the quality of new Premier business is consistent with PRS strategy and prescribed underwriting guidelines as well as catastrophe management objectives for this level of customerEvaluating account details (contract modifications writing companies deductibles overall account rating structure based on all exposures including up-sell and account rounding opportunities)Developing technical expertise in the underwriting and pricing of all Premiere productsWorking with the producer and branch to coordinate annual insurance reviews that identify product and service needs of customersAnalyzing customer information and making recommendations for additional coverage and servicesAggressively researching and analyzing industry trends (insurance and customer) to stay current and identifying emerging issues affecting business plans new product and service opportunities; actively sharing with constituentsPreparing renewal proposals that assist the producers in promoting account retention and growthCommunicating any potential account acquisition or growth issues to branch and Home OfficeCoordinating the underwriting pricing proposal and placement process for Custom Solutions exposures with Home Office resourcesObtaining quotes and assisting producers with coverage options for exposures written outside of Masterpiece (International Exposures Custom Solutions Flood EPLI Workers Compensation Kidnap & Ransom Boiler & Machinery)Contributing to the training of staff within the Underwriting Center and Region on Premier capabilitiesSoliciting and conducting customer visits.QualificationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong collaboration and negotiation skillsCreative problem solving skillsStrong technical underwriting skillsIn-depth knowledge of PRS strategies products and servicesStrong history of results and customer service orientationAbility to create strong Producer Home Office Underwriting Marketing Territory and Branch Manager relationshipsEducation & Experience:Bachelors Degree strongly preferred4 years of experience in personal lines underwriting preferably with high-net-worth clienteleThe pay range for the role is $110000 to $170500.
