Role Description

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor remote role for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner board certification through ANCC. The practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide medication management and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities also include delivering trauma-informed care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and reviewing treatment progress to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Consistent communication and empathy in patient interactions are essential aspects of this role.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Psychiatric Care, Mental Health Care, and evidence-based mental health interventions
  • Experience in Mental Health Nursing and general Nursing practices
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (ANCC-BC) is required
  • DEA Certification Required
  • Malpractice & Liability Insurance Required
  • Supervising Collaborative Physician Required, if required by State regulations
  • Ability to provide trauma-informed care and work with diverse, vulnerable populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Commitment to addressing mental health disparities and promoting equitable care
  • Licensure to practice in California, Nevada, Hawai’i, or Alaska
  • Doctorate degree in Nursing (either DNP or PhD) and experience in psychiatric settings are required
