Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician at Ascend Medical Staffing

Locum Psychiatry need in Johnstown, PA. ASAP and on-going need. Must have current PA license.Hospital:- Inpatient unit - 29 beds, census currently capped at 21.- Call schedule: 1-2 days per week. 3 days on occasion Possible weekend call neededOn call weekdays by phone from 5 pm until 8 am the following morning. On call weekends round on psychiatric units and see new consultations in the ED and med/surg on Saturday and Sunday.- Avg Patient Encounters while on call: Varies- Avg Called in while on call: Varies, about 2-4 admissions, plus calls for behavioral issues, PRN medications, non-routine incidents on the unit- Response time: 25 minutes- Midlevels assist with new evals and summaries- EMR: Epic- Daily average of 3-5 consults, and 5-6 follow-ups.- Department/Units Rounding: Adult, DEM, ConsultsContact:Conrad Feller, BSN, RNAscend Medical Staffing
