Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Psychiatrist, located in DeBary, FL, with the flexibility for partial remote work and no weekend or afterhour reaponsibilities. The Psychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions, providing evidence-based care to individuals across varying age groups, including adolescents. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing and managing medications, formulating treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care. The role requires maintaining accurate medical records while engaging in continuous learning to stay updated on advancements in psychiatry. Interest and referral of patients for alternative treatment modalities for treatment resistant depression including TMS Therapy, ketamine infusions and Spravato (esketamine)is also expected.


Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge and skills in Medicine and Psychiatry
  • Experience in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health treatment
  • Willingness to see oatients of all ages
  • Ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs
  • Active medical license in the state of Florida
  • Board certification in Psychiatry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered and culturally sensitive care
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and related technologies is a plus
  • Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish -preferred)
