Psychiatry physician job in Virginia : Psychiatrist MD/DO (Hybrid)We are a '"Top Doctor" outpatient Psychiatry & Ketamine Practice in the Northern Virginia/DMVarea spearheaded by a triple board-certified psychiatrist and pain physician. You will have the support ofintake, benefit verification, insurance credentialing, billing, scheduling, authorizations. Be part of a team that's shaping the future ofpsychiatric care and love where you work!QUALIFICATIONS:- Residency in Psychiatry- Experience in patient care and assessment- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation- Ability to work with a diverse patient population- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques- Post-residency experience in psychiatric settings- Familiarity with medical terminology and records- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment- Experience in crisis management and mental health counseling- Applicants must have an independent and unrestricted MD/DO license in the state of- Virginia and be Board Certified or Board Eligible willing to take exam in one year.- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week between 9:00-7:00pm- Willing to consent to a background check.- Candidates will need a NPI and an attested CAQH profile. We only work with commercial payers and there's minimal to no administrativepatient paperwork. Join us and take your career to the next level in a supportive, innovativeenvironment!ABOUT US & OUR NEEDS:Exciting opportunities for a Full-time candidate or Part-time (Minimum of 20 hours/week).Your responsibilities will include: carrying out medication management and psychotherapyservices in accordance to state and national regulations, complete timely appointmentnotes that comply with insurance contracts, operate and basic troubleshoot technology(such as computer, software, EHR), and collaborate with other providers of the practice.Your role will focus on medication management in outpatient general psychiatry, treatingmood disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar, ADHD, and addiction. You are also eligible tosupervise mid-level practitioners (NPs and PAs) for a pay differential. Preference for candidateswith multiple licenses and DEA's, although we will assist with obtaining licensesand credentialing for you.
