Under general supervision, capable of performing all aspects of conventional design engineering, analysis, and studies on new and existing structures. Key Responsibilities: The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for COMPANY'S Global projects. The Mechanical Engineer level 5 position is responsible for the engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities. The HVAC Team is engaged in the following: Design and Construction Activitieso Project Delivery Methods - Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid- Build. o Facility Types – Water Treatment, Power Generation buildings, and Substations. o Systems – HVAC and Plumbing. o Type of Areas – Waste water treatment buildings, Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, and Pump Areas. Studieso Energy Audit/Efficiency - Engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations o Code Review/Application - Facility review for code compliance. o Sustainable Design/LEED - Application of sustainable strategies Self-Motivated, Problem Solving, Written Communications, Driven for Results, Quality Focused, Strong Listening Skills. Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and the following applicable design guides and standards related to HVAC, and plumbing system design.
