Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilitiesJob Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history and physical examinations.Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging, labs, and pulmonary function testsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physiciansProvide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modificationsAssist with procedures such as chest tubes, thoracentesis and trach management, proctoring availableParticipate in the evaluation and management of patients with conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertensionNo bronchus, vents, or ICU coverageMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical recordParticipate in quality improvement and multidisciplinary team meetingsBe accountable for your performanceAlways look for ways to improve the patient experienceBe engaged, eager to learn, and take initiative for your professional growthMethodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System.
