Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.ResponsibilitiesRegularly performs the duties of the Respiratory Therapist II and assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary procedures. Serves as a technical resource for the respiratory therapists regarding assistance with such procedures. Works with pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patient populations.QualificationsREQUIRED:Must be a graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy/care education program.Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from Georgia Composite Medical Board.Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)Must hold American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).PREFERRED:Additional Life Support credential (PALS NRP etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units including ACCS or RPFT.
