Job Description
A health services network in South Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Advanced Bronchoscopist Pulmonologist for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Cape May.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient mix
- Schedule: Monday to Friday standard business
- Call: Rotated call
Responsibilities:
The Advanced Bronchoscopist will:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations related to respiratory symptoms
- Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, chronic cough, chest pain, and other respiratory issues
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results to aid in diagnosis
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosis
- Prescribe appropriate medications
- Manage chronic respiratory diseases
- Provide education on disease management and lifestyle adjustments
- Manage patients in critical condition
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
- Board Certified / Eligible in Pulmonology
- Certification in Advanced Diagnostic Bronchoscopies from AABIP
