JOB DESCRIPTION
Pump Assembly Technician
Join a dynamic team dedicated to assembling customer-specific pumps. You will work with a variety of pump designs and utilize your skills in blueprint reading and tool handling to create high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Build customer-specific pumps, which will vary per customer, based on a set of provided prints.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble pumps efficiently and accurately.
Essential Skills
- Ability to read blueprints accurately.
- Proficient in using power and hand tools, including a tape measure.
- At least 5 years of working experience in a relevant field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with plastic fabrication is a plus.
- Background in plumbing, particularly with PVC or stainless pipes, is beneficial.
- Previous experience in carpentry is advantageous.
- Understanding of metal welding and heat penetration for plastic is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, small manufacturing organization with a total of 18 employees. The facility is a heated warehouse, ensuring a comfortable work environment. The position is for the 1st Shift from 7 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday. The manager values self-sufficiency and encourages employees to take initiative and ask questions when needed.

This is a permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
