Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, components, and supplies while maintaining strong vendor relationships. You will support operations by managing inventory levels, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Inventory
Monitor material usage and run daily material requirements reports
Validate physical inventory counts as needed
Identify procurement challenges and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues
Optimize inventory levels and support inventory planning efforts
Review slow-moving or aging inventory and assess cost-saving opportunities
Negotiate supplier pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines
Quality & Process Improvement
Support manufacturing and operational best practices
Partner with operations to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, buying, or inventory management
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or training in purchasing and/or inventory control management
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 75-100 lbs with equipment assistance
Frequent talking, hearing, and close vision tasks
Additional Information
This position may include other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation details: 25-35 Hourly Wage
