About the Role

We're hiring a Purchasing Assistant to support a busy purchasing and inventory control team in Neenah. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term growth.

You'll work directly with the Purchasing Team Lead in a small, collaborative team (currently 2 total, growing to 3). This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in an office environment.

What You'll Do

• Verify pricing and delivery dates on purchase orders

• Track and maintain open purchase order status reports

• Maintain accurate supplier and product data

• Follow up on and expedite purchase orders as needed

• Communicate with suppliers to resolve pricing, quality, or delivery issues

• Assist with sourcing materials and processing purchases

• Monitor supplier pricing, quotes, and rebates

• Support purchasing and inventory-related projects

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes

• Assist with quality control and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous office or administrative experience

• Experience in distribution or supply chain (a plus, not required)

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Training & Systems

• Epicor Prophet 21 (ERP system)

• ISO and Quality Management training

• Workplace safety training
