The Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet CreekandWaldorf Astoria Orlandois searching for a talented Purchasing Clerk join their team!Ideal candidate will have previous buyer and receiving experience including supplies storeroom clerk experience and food and beverage experience. Previous Hilton experience and having strong computer skills and Smart Spend experience is preferred.Shift Pattern: Candidate will work Monday-Friday shifts from between 5:00am to 5:00pm. Candidate will work Weekends and Holidays as needed.Pay Rate: $17.55 per hourThe Benefits: *We support the mental and physical wellbeing of all Team Members so they can Thrivepersonally and professionallyin a diverse and inclusive environment thanks to innovative programs and benefits.Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package including:* Access to your pay when you need it through DailyPay Medical Insurance Coverage for you and your family Mental Health Resources Best-in-Class Paid Time Off (PTO) Go Hilton travel discount program Supportiveparental leave Matching 401(k) Employee stock purchase program (ESPP) - purchase Hilton shares at 15% discount Debt-free education:Access to a wide variety of educational credentials(ex. college degrees high school completion English-language learning digital literacy professional certificates and more) Career growth and development Team Member Resource Groups Recognition and rewards programs*Available benefits may vary depending upon property-specific terms and conditions of employment and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement if applicable.What will I be doingAccepts all purchased products into the hotel verifying accuracy of delivery to purchase orders.Maintains storeroom in accordance with standards and rotates stock accordingly.Issues and delivers items to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures.Conducts Inventories.Essential Functions:Enters all non-edible merchandise into the computer nothing the received status shortages and all the other required information so all merchandise is accounted for.Prepares all outgoing records.Notifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved.Signs dates and time stamps all invoices on the respective receiving sheet ensuring times are correctly identified.Assists in the daily operation of the food storeroom properly stores and rotates all stock so that all items and fresh; involves transportation of heavy goods.Fill Requisitions to authorize outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises supervisor of items that are low or out-of-stock so they can be reordered.Responsible for checking each item on the invoice against the applicable hotel document weighing counting verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of delivery and also for responsible for checking in and delivering all guest packagesIn addition to performance of the essential functions this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.Performs other duties as requested such as cleaning up spills or special customer requests.EOE/AA/Disabled/VeteransWhat are we looking forSince being founded in 1919 Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
