Purchasing Manager (110–140K)We have an exciting opportunity available for a Purchasing Manager at a growing manufacturing operation in the Syracuse, NY area.Key Responsibilities:Lead purchasing and material acquisition to support production schedules, including vendor sourcing, bidding, contract negotiation, and procurement execution.Manage vendor agreements, pricing terms, and supplier performance to drive cost savings and improve quality and reliability.Issue purchase orders and ensure alignment with project timelines and operational needs.Oversee and optimize raw material and supply inventory levels to maintain availability and minimize excess.Support capital equipment and project-based procurement efforts.Coordinate material logistics and shipping activities.Monitor purchasing KPIs and analyze material trends to recommend savings opportunities and process improvements.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related.7+ years in buying/procurement roles.3+ years in a leadership capacity.Strong vendor negotiation, analytical, and ERP/Excel skills.Previous manufacturing purchasing experience preferred.Awareness of ITAR/EAR helpful but not required.For confidential and immediate consideration submit your resume to [email protected] Recruitment is an EOE
