Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost quality and delivery for manufacturing operations. Source evaluate and qualify new suppliers while managing existing vendor relationships and performance. Negotiate favorable terms pricing and contracts for raw materials components and MRO items. Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction and supply chain efficiency. Ensure all purchased materials and services meet specified quality standards and regulatory compliance. Mitigate supply chain risks including lead time variations material shortages and price fluctuations. Recommended Qualifications 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing vendor negotiation and contract management. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for procurement inventory management and planning. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes materials and quality standards. Proven ability to lead and develop a purchasing team.
