QA Food Safety Coordinator at AGT Foods

AGT Food and Ingredients Inc. is looking for a Full Time Quality and Food Safety Coordinator to join our ingredient team in Minot North Dakota. This individual would be reporting to the Director of R&D/QAFS with a dotted line to the general Manager. Benefits for full time employees:-Medical Dental and Vision offered after 60 days-PTO accrual and Holiday pay offered after 90 days-401K with match after 1 year RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures implementation of quality and food safety management system programsReviews and verifies quality and food safety recordsMaintains document lifecycle in the facilityParticipates in the review of hazard analysis and critical control point following HACCP principlesInitiates investigation activities triggered by internal non-conformances customer complaints and auditsCoordinates with key personnel to identify actions to be taken to address food safety issuesConducts facility audits and inspections as per defined frequency and as neededActs as audit guide during third party auditsEnsures the facilitys inspection readinessCoordinates QFSMS issues during food safety meetings and toolbox meetingsPrepares quality and food safety data for trend analysis and monitoringParticipates in other validation and verification activities as neededUphold a quality-conscious and food-safe cultureAble to prepare and deliver Quality and Food safety training to staff COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Science Food Science Agriculture or any equivalent related science program.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QAFS coordination/management roleAbove average knowledge and understanding of applicable quality and food safety management systems standards (GFSI BRCGS FSSC 22000 ISO 9001 Gluten-Free); product-specific standards (Kosher HALAL NonGMO)Strong analytical and logical reasoningPossesses strong communication and presentation skillsAuditing experience will be an assetMicrosoft Office skills (Excel Word PowerPoint)---Please e-mail and include your cover letter resume and salary expectations by the December 23 2025AGT Foods values and supports employment equity in the workplace including accessibility.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Business Development,Anti Money Laundering,Jdbc,Cement,Administration Support,Analytics Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
