Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: QA/QC Inspector – Commercial ConstructionEmployment Type: Full-Time Reports To: QA/QC Manager or Project SuperintendentPosition Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality across our commercial construction projects. As a key member of the field operations team, you will be responsible for inspecting work, verifying compliance with project specifications, and supporting documentation for quality assurance and control.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, codes, and company standardsReview and verify materials, workmanship, and installation methods across multiple tradesMonitor subcontractor performance and adherence to quality requirementsAssist in developing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and checklistsDocument inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actionsSupport project closeout by compiling turnover packages and quality documentationCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve quality issuesEnsure compliance with safety protocols and participate in HSE audits as neededQualifications3+ years of QA/QC experience in commercial construction or related fieldStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesFamiliarity with CSI divisions and trade-specific scopes (e.g., concrete, steel, finishes, MEP)Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications, and technical documentsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and reporting abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC software platformsCertifications such as ICC, ACI, or OSHA 30 are a plusWhy Join UsWork on high-profile commercial projectsBe part of a collaborative and safety-first cultureCompetitive compensation and benefitsOpportunities for growth and professional developmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
