The Quality Assurance Tech should be able to effectively determine root cause issues and initiate corrective action as needed. This position is also responsible for serving as an overall team member in support of goals and objectives.Essential FunctionsAbility to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulationsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometryAbility to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situationsInterpret sales engineering production and/or quality documentation and apply when inspecting and testing productRecord quality data and information on appropriate forms and data collection toolsProvide constructive feedback to internal suppliers on defects and how to improve quality and customer satisfactionPerform quality audits of various products and procedures used throughout the facilityAbility to interact with customers and customer representatives in a professional manner consistent with company policiesAct as a team player and assist other team members to achieve overall quality costs delivery safety and teamwork goalsMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures rules and regulationsDemonstrate effective interpersonal communication skillsRegular attendance requiredAll other duties and responsibilities that are assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent educationFive years or more related experiencePreferred Qualifications to complete Essential FunctionsDemonstrated experience in the use of various mechanical/electrical measuring devices and equipmentComputer literate and experience with Microsoft products to include Excel and WordFive years or more experience in quality inspection activitiesExperience in the use of statistical process control and problem-solving toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand toolsOther Physical Requirements*All positions require the ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
