 QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR - CWIThis position provides oversite of project quality control activities of sub-contracted work for heavy industrial contractor.  This position is also responsible for inspection of weld quality, workmanship, and conformance of specifications. We Offer Safety Focused Work EnvironmentCompetitive Wages and Per DiemWeekly PayMedical/Vision/Dental Benefits401K PlanEarned Time OffOvertime PotentialOpportunity for AdvancementReferral Bonus ProgramExciting Work with Nationally Known ClientsESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee self-perform work which includes concrete forming, placing, and finishing, structural steel erection and welding, process pipe installation, equipment setting to O&M manuals and various codes.Monitor subcontracted work which includes rebar installation, masonry wall erection, steel studs and drywall, electrical, TPO roofing and other interior finishes to their applicable building codes.Provide assistance to the Project Managers and Project Superintendent as needed to ensure that the company’s scope of work is built in accordance with the project plans and specificationsHave a good working knowledge of computer systems and be able to learn all programs used by the company to preform QC TasksCoordinate and direct inspection work performed by Robinson Inspectors on self-performed work.  Self-perform inspections and witness test as requiredCoordinate 3rd party special inspections as required by the contract documentsMonitor and inspect subcontractor work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and codes when applicableCoordinate permit inspections as require by city, county, or state agenciesConduct internal/external quality control audits.  Define corrective measures for problem areas and insure implementationCommunicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections and meetingsAppraise customers’ requirements and ensure they are satisfiedReport all concerns to the Corporate QC Manager, Superintendent, and Project ManagerMaintain Quality Records and assist in developing turnover documentsKeep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentationEnsure all legal standards are metPerform other duties as assigned by manager and/or as requested by other department members to accomplish team efforts*This is an abbreviated job description, please see below for instructons to view full-job description.Robinson Construction is an EOE/AA EmployerFor full job description, and to apply for this position, please apply at: www.robinsonconstruction.com/join-our-team.  For questions please contact us at [email protected].
