Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Description: Company OverviewAmeritex Machine and Fabrication is a high mix low volume sheet metal and structural fabrication facility that uses a variety of equipment such as CNC Fiber Lasers, CNC punch presses, CNC press brakes, and tube lasers to support over 19 production and assembly lines. The company serves customers in energy, oil and gas, automotive, electric vehicle, and aerospace. We operate out of a state of the art 100,000 sqft facility in Conroe, Texas.Job ResponsibilitiesAddresses daily quality concerns and questionsTroubleshoots manufacturing problems and quality issuesWork closely with operation teams to ensure process controls are in place and adequate to meet standard requirementsEnsure any non-conforming product is properly identified, quarantined and communicatedExamines material or product for surface defects such as crack, pits, and incomplete weldsVerifies specified dimensions of product or materialConduct incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to procedures, specifications, drawings, samples, or illustrations.Must be able to follow instructions and work independentlyCleaning, organizing, and setting up workstationsKitting or grouping required parts per job requirementsMust be able to easily multitask around the shop.QualificationsExperience in manufacturing quality environmentTooling experience neededComputer capableAble to stand, walk, squat, move for 8+ each day At least 2 years of college educationWork ScheduleThough this professional needs to complete his/her work during the standard routine hours, he/she might need to be flexible at times and extend beyond the normal hours to do the work which needs to be completed on a priority basis.$18.00 - $28.00 Hourly
