JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: West QC Lead

Department: Quality Control

Job Summary: This role will control quality throughout the West facility for our complex shapes and ammunition product lines and support other general quality tasks. TPW is looking for a highly detail-oriented person who strictly adheres to product standards, can manage multiple projects, coordinate across departments, and operate in a centralized command, decentralized execution environment. The right candidate should handle pressure, confidently communicate, and use data to drive decision-making. TPW seeks a candidate who is guided by informed decision-making, initiative, and responsibility, and who strives to identify and resolve problems as early as possible in the production process.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be a US citizen

Must meet DFAR and ITAR employment requirements

Optional Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in quality

Experience with heavy machinery safety procedures

Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Leadership experience

Work Environment and Schedule:

On-site position

No travel requirements

Schedule: Monday- Friday (occasional weekends) 8-6 pm.

This position will require a more flexible schedule and overtime based on operational requirements.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to identify defects and inconsistencies.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively discuss and document quality concerns with production teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to evaluate processes and suggest improvements.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around production areas for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and handle products during inspections.
