QC Scientist Raw Materials at Eurofins

Position Summary:Eurofins PSS is seeking a QC Scientist to collaborate with us in a brand new raw materials testing facility. The successful candidate will be following cGMP guidelines testing these raw materials utilizing FTIR HPLC GC and other techniques and instruments.Job Responsibilities:Perform established testing methods on a diverse set of instruments including FTIR HPLC GC Amino Acid Analysis and Mass SpectroscopyUtilize various wet chemistry techniques such as dissolution pH testing and moreAnalyze data with software including Empower and effectively communicate resultsUtilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) with proficiencyEnsure continuous laboratory compliance with all cGMP and other regulatory requirementsCalibrate and maintain laboratory equipmentContinuously drive to improve processes for improved performance using Lean & 5sQualifications : Basic Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Biochemistry Pharmaceutical Sciences Chemistry or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in an industry position utilizing FTIR in a cGMP environmentPrevious experience and proven knowledge utilizing HPLC and/or GCMust have reliable transportation as travel is required between multiple sites within a commutable distance for the immediate foreseeable futureMust be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:3 years of industry experience utilizing FTIR HPLC and GCExperience with wet chemistry techniques including but not limited to dissolution pH appearance testing etc.Previous experience with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)Effective time management and strong interpersonal skills.Self-motivated adaptable and a positive attitudeExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAdditional Information : Position is Full Time Monday-Friday 8am-5 pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Gaithersburg MD are encouraged to applyExcellent full-time benefits include:Comprehensive medical coverage dental and vision optionsLife and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidayYearly goal-based bonus & eligibility for merit-based increasesBase Compensation: $31-$40 per hour based on education and experienceEurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Environment,Access Control System,Ethernet,Imaging,Fun,Health And Safety Management Experience: years Vacancy: 1
