Job Description: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)Reliant Solutions, Inc.Position SummaryThe Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) at Reliant Solutions, Inc. is an essential frontline provider within our crisis services division, including 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization, Mobile Crisis Response, and Community Stabilization programs. The QMHP delivers immediate support and therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. This role is designed for professionals passionate about trauma-informed care, rapid-response services, and supporting individuals in distress in a way that promotes stabilization, recovery, and continuity of care.Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to crisis referrals and participate in mobile response interventions across the service region.- Provide in-person support during 23-hour crisis stays, including observation, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement.- Deliver community-based stabilization services to clients transitioning from crisis settings or experiencing sub-acute distress.- Work collaboratively with LMHP/LMHP-R staff to ensure compliance with clinical oversight and Medicaid service models.- Assist with crisis assessments and safety planning in collaboration with licensed team members.- Support clients in skill development, coping strategies, and connecting to long-term services or supports.Document all service contacts in real time using agency EHR (Genysys or equivalent), ensuring Medicaid and DBHDS compliance.Coordinate with external providers including CSBs, hospitals, and law enforcement as necessary to ensure effective transitions and referrals- Participate in clinical team meetings, debriefings, and quality assurance reviews.- Comply with agency protocols, HIPAA, and ethical standards at all times.- Maintainaccurate daily logs, billing entries, and authorization records for all assigned clients.QualificationsRequired:- Bachelors degree in a human services field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or related).- Registered as a QMHP-A or QMHP-C with the Virginia Board of Counseling, or QMHP-T eligible.- Minimum of one year of experience providing mental health or crisis-related services.- Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and crisis stabilization models.- Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.- Proficient with digital tools including EHR systems and Microsoft Office.- Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation for community-based work.Work Environment & ScheduleThis position includes field-based, center-based, and mobile duties. Flexible shifts are required to support a 24/7 crisis response system, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
