Qualification Product Management Engineer at Western Digital

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Qualification Product Management Engineer to join our team in Irvine United this role you will be responsible for managing the qualification process of our products ensuring they meet all necessary standards and regulations.Work with cross functional teams to develop and implement qualification strategies for new and existing productsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specificationsDesign and execute qualification test plans and protocolsAnalyze test results and prepare comprehensive qualification reportsManage the product lifecycle from concept to market releaseIdentify and mitigate potential risks in the qualification processContinuously improve qualification methodologies and processesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all qualification activitiesProvide technical support and guidance to internal teams on qualification-related mattersQualifications : Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field3-5 years of experience in product management or related field with a focus on HDD qualification processesStrong background in engineering or technical fieldExcellent data analysis and reporting skillsProven project management abilitiesExperience with technical documentation and regulatory complianceProficient in using product management software and toolsUnderstanding of industry-specific qualification standardsKnowledge of HDD product development processesStrong attention to detail and analytical thinking skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective communication and teamwork skillsAdditional Information : All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Compensation & Benefits DetailsAn employees pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills ability knowledge of the job; (3) performance contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California Colorado New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California Colorado and New York.  This range may be modified in the future.If your position is non-exempt you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws.  You may also be eligible for shift differential pay depending on the shift to which you are assigned.You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under either Western Digitals Short Term Incentive Plan (STI Plan) or the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance depending on your role and your performance.
