We’re looking for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) contractor to support youth and families in the Bryan/College Station area. If you’re energized by helping clients build stability in real time and thrive in a community-based setting, this opportunity may be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
• Deliver Medicaid-aligned behavioral health services while meeting documentation and compliance standards
• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments, as assigned and clinically appropriate
• Provide skills training, crisis intervention, medication training support, and case management, as authorized
• Create and update crisis/safety plans as clinically appropriate
• Coordinate with caregivers and care partners to support treatment-planning communication
• Provide face-to-face services in approved settings, including home, school, and community environments
• Complete timely, accurate documentation for billing and compliance, including progress notes, service records, and related documentation
Who We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
• QMHP/QMHP-CS eligible
• Experience supporting children, youth, and/or families preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based model
• Strong documentation skills and reliable follow-through with timelines
• Professional, empathetic communication
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, especially in the Bryan/College Station market
Compensation
Base Service Fee (Billable Work)
• $25–$28 per approved billable hour
• Proper documentation and coding required
Monthly Accelerator Enhancements
• Additional $4 to $9 per billable hour based on monthly billable volume under a tiered model
Mileage Support Payment (Monthly, if offered)
• Flat monthly support based on verified eligible business miles
• Normal commuting excluded
• $100–$800/month depending on eligible mileage tier
Optional Ramp-Up Minimum Pay (If offered)
• Up to 45 days of ramp support when eligibility conditions are met
Other Incentives (If applicable)
• Client Recruitment Bonus: $50 per new client enrolled with active insurance confirmation
Important Contractor Notes
• This is a 1099 independent contractor role and does not include benefits
• Non-billable admin time, travel time, and meetings are not separately compensated unless expressly provided under the plan or a signed statement of work
• Trainings and meetings may be offered; participation is generally voluntary unless otherwise stated
Pay Schedule
• Work performed 1st–15th → paid on the 22nd
• Work performed 16th–31st → paid on the 7th
Service Area & Expectations
• Primary coverage: Bryan/College Station + surrounding communities
• Reliable transportation required for travel between approved service locations
• Earnings are performance-driven based on billable output and documentation quality/timeliness
