This role is responsible for reviewing quality control data managing training and equipment records coordinating audits reviewing post production data and assisting with laboratory accreditation compliance.This position is responsible for quality assurance functions independent of production and financial responsibility. The QA Associate II works closely with the Quality Assurance Manager Group Leaders and and other managers to monitor day-to-day operations and help ensure compliance to the laboratorys Quality Assurance Program.Applicants will be passionate about providing high-quality results to laboratory clients while working with operations to develop operational efficiencies and maintain safe working conditions.This position is in-person. Remote work is not available for this position Schedule: Monday - Friday - Lab operating hoursReporting to the QA Manager this role supports the Denver COteam this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including: Support proficiency testing and corrective action resolution Review and update SOPs and other laboratory documentation Maintain calibration and maintenance records for support equipment Review bench records and logbooks for accuracy Manage and track personnel training documentation Assist in the develop and provide QA/QC training to laboratory staff Identify and document nonconformances and monitor corrective actions Analyze and interpret quality control data and trends Plan and perform internal audits and assessments Assist with external audit preparation and documentation Report performance metrics to management Archive quality-related data per SOPs Comply with Enthalpys Quality Assurance Program and other policies Comply with Enthalpys Health and Safety PlanCore Competencies Understand analytical methods and relevant regulatory standards (e.g. TNI ISO 17025)Analyze basic statistical data (i.e. mean standard deviation confidence limits)Maintain organized records and documentationDemonstrate professionalism discretion and sound judgmentFamiliar with scientific terminology and lab operationsCommunicate effectively and collaborate across teamsSupport a positive inclusive and safe work environmentYOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities.Bachelors degree in Biology Microbiology Chemistry or related sciencesMeet the minimum requirements of the facilitys accrediting bodiesMinimum 2 years of laboratory experience preferably in an accredited labPrior experience as QA Associate I or equivalent (3 years total experience)Preferred: 2 years with Element LIMS and knowledge of TNI ISO 17025 GLP or DOD standardsPreferred to have 2 years using Element LIMSPreferred to have 2 years of working knowledge of industry regulations TNI 2016 Standard ISO 17025/GLP/DOD or other regulated environmentsSystemsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel PowerPoint Word)Working knowledge with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and understand frameworkSafety/Drug Screening Able to pass corporate background checks and drug testSoft SkillsGood working knowledge of scientific terminology and research conceptsAble to collaborate with lab team members to gather interpret and consolidate data generate documentation and reporting review data and information for presentation and reviewRelevant knowledge of analytical laboratory processesAble to work independently managing multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter self-motivated)Good organization and time management skillsEffective written and oral communication skillsAble to think and act strategically and proactivelyDetail orientedResourceful flexible and resilient to operate in a dynamic work environmentWorking Conditions:Laboratory setting with exposure to solvents reagents and environmental samplesRequires sitting for long periods and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)Use of PPE required in accordance with lab safety protocols level of PPE varies based on location of labThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
