JOB DESCRIPTION
Quality Assurance
We have two open positions in Quality Assurance. The 1st shift Quality Technician in the Assembly Department focuses on incoming quality inspection of weldments to print, ensuring proper positioning before assembly. The 3rd shift Quality Inspector in the Molding Department is responsible for ensuring 100% quality checks as the last line of defense.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct incoming quality inspection of weldments to print for the Assembly Department.
- Ensure weldments are in the proper positions before assembly.
- Perform 100% quality checks as the last line of defense.
- Use height gages, digital micrometers, and calipers for precise measurements.
- Document the inspection process using computer skills.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in using height gages, digital micrometers, and calipers.
- Experience as the last line of defense in quality control.
- Layout experience for the 1st shift position.
- A work history of two jobs in the last five years.

Work Environment:
The work environment includes a molding area with 500 to 1,500 ton injection mold and injection foam presses, and an assembly area for assembling plastics and metals into full containers. It is a pretty clean shop.
Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pontiac, MI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
