Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Interpret blueprints, CATIA models, company standards, work instructions, and perform necessary calculations using shop math to conform tooling, detailed parts, assemblies and installations.Perform complete inspection of components, major assemblies, sub-assemblies, production tools or parts during manufacturing, modifications, installations to determine safety or conformance to standards and requirements.Interpret and check complex prints, engineering change orders and governmental regulatory procedures and specifications.Apply technical knowledge in the fields of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, sheet metal, etc. to determine and sign off safety, airworthiness, or conformance.Use precision measuring guides, gauges and laboratory instruments.Suggest dispositions of damaged or worn parts and the possibility of salvage based on FAA regulations, company practices or procedures.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum of five (5) years aircraft related experienceFAA Airframe and Powerplant CertificateGood knowledge of FAA regulations as pertaining to aircraft maintenance.Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics.Must have required tools.Able to work on maintenance stands, extending to 25 feetAble to work in confined spaces and in unusual positionsAble to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationMust not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents.Able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.Computer literacy.Able to communicate technical information clearly too supervisory personnel, flight crews and customers.Compensation and Benefits:The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
