Quality Control Director- Public Accounting at Rinvio Recruitment

**Position Overview:** This is a remote position with travel requirements of up to 15% contingent upon client and business needs. Candidates should be located within the United States.**Key Responsibilities:** - Review and oversee client attest engagements including the planning execution and final review of financial statements.- Conduct annual Internal Inspections to ensure compliance and quality.- Maintain current knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the presentation of financial statements.- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) along with prevalent audit methodologies and procedures.- Participate in and support various training initiatives throughout the year.- Supervise train and mentor associates and interns in the attest process to ensure effectiveness and skill development.- Research and analyze financial statements addressing relevant attest issues as they arise.- Cultivate a network of potential referral sources and identify opportunities for service expansion.- Execute other job-related duties as required to maintain operational efficiency.**Qualifications:** -**Education:** A Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a closely related field is required; a Masters Degree is highly preferred.-**Certification:** A CPA License is mandatory.-**Experience:** A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public accounting with a significant focus on financial statement audits and Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS) engagements.- **Technical Knowledge:** A solid understanding of GAAP GAAS SSARS Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).-**Communication Skills:** Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities are essential.-**Time Management:** Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage time-sensitive engagements.-**Regulatory Knowledge:** Familiarity with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) auditing standards is considered an asset.
