Quality Control Inspector at Borg Design Inc

 Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on inspection of      machined and fabricated components using precision measuring equipment,      including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and related tools
• Interpret blueprints, engineering      drawings, specifications, and work orders to verify conformance to      requirements
• Conduct first-article,      in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality throughout the      manufacturing cycle
• Accurately document inspection      results, nonconformances, and corrective actions while maintaining      complete and organized quality records
• Collaborate directly with      machinists, supervisors, and production personnel to identify root causes      and resolve quality issues in real time
• Support the maintenance and      continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in accordance with      ISO and/or AS quality standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a      manufacturing or job shop environment with direct inspection      responsibility
• Strong working knowledge of      precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
• Proven ability to read and      interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications
• Detail-oriented with strong      analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using basic computer      systems for documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping
