Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBenefits:Bonus based on performanceCompetitive salaryJob Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Field Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role involves walking residential construction sites to ensure all work meets established quality standards and complies with client and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction inspections and a strong understanding of residential building practices.Key Responsibilities:Conduct daily field inspections at residential job sites to verify that work meets quality, safety, and compliance standardsInspect construction activities such as trenching, conduit installation, grounding, structural mounting, and equipment placementEnsure contractors adhere to approved specifications, codes, and client requirementsDocument inspection findings using detailed field notes, reports, and photo documentationIdentify deficiencies or deviations and communicate corrective actions to the appropriate teamCoordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and utility representatives to resolve issues in the fieldEnsure proper use and handling of materials and equipment on-siteMaintain organized and up-to-date records of all inspections and communicationsTravel between job sites as requiredQualifications:Previous experience in field inspection, construction, or utility-related work (OSP/telecom/electrical a plus)Strong understanding of residential construction processes and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specificationsComfortable working outdoors and walking sites daily in various weather conditionsExcellent communication and reporting skillsDetail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesValid drivers license and reliable transportationJob Type: Full-time, Permanent (1099 Sub-Contractor)Pay: $23$27 per hour (based on experience)Expected Hours: 40 per weekSchedule:8-hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: Field-based (on the road; residential job sites)
