Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary: The QC Team member will be under general supervision to perform QC tests as required by following sampling instructions to evaluate products in various stages of completion. The QC team member helps perform investigations/analysis of problems and assists with implementing countermeasures while minimizing impacts on production. Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as necessary. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by employing 5S principles. This posting is primarily for our PE Quality Control Facility located in Richmond Hill, GA. The starting base rate of pay will be $21.33 per hour. Upon being hired, Team members who demonstrate advanced skills may qualify for a higher pay level in the future.About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE Systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles based on state-of-the-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Monitor, inspect, and report on the quality of products, repairs, workmanship, proper labeling, allocation, and staging of parts received from suppliers and manufactured internally.Perform QC tests on products in various stages of completion and perform minor repairs according to established procedures.Maintain good quality processes and 5-S standards within the QC DepartmentReview all analysis reports with the supervisor and produce reports as necessary.Enter all data into the laboratory reporting system (QMS).Attend all training and train QC personnel as requestedThe position requires the ability to work overtime over 40 hours per week.The position may require job rotation between different positions and shifts.Monitor and maintain QC equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly.Comply with and promote company practices in the areas of safety, human relations, quality, cost, housekeeping, and delivery targets for the area.All other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: No Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of manufacturing or quality experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Good Verbal and Written communication skills.Willingness to learn new skills and follow written directions.Attention to detail and the ability to organize and multi-task.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment.Ability to address issues, follow up, and implement solutions as required.Positive professional attitude; optimistic.Preferred Education & Experience:2-year technical degree2 or more years of experience in a Quality Control lab within a high-capacity manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, and Six Sigma1-3 years of automotive experience Licenses and Registrations: None required
