Job Description

DescriptionThis position is responsible for coordinating quality control processes to ensure Sherwin products meet quality specifications. This position schedules and plans quality control activities based on production requirements and customer requirements. This position also provides support to quality control technicians and performs internal quality and package appearance audits.Additional Information2nd Shift: 1:00pm - 9:30pmThis position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Companys applicable plans.Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and business relationships.ResponsibilitiesSupport shift set-up including scheduling and planningContribute ideas to improve or optimize quality proceduresAbide by and promote all company safety and quality expectationsComply with policies and standard operating proceduresEvaluate and provide resolution of in-process and finished goodsAdvise on all problem batchesSchedule and perform internal quality and package appearance auditsMonitor and replenish inventory of parts and suppliesProvide technical support and training to other team membersKeep tools equipment and work environment clean and organized dailyQualificationsMinimum RequirementsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have at least one (1) year of experience working in a quality control laboratory or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in QualityPreferred QualificationsHave an Associate degree or higher in Chemistry or at least two (2) years of experience working in a quality control laboratoryHave completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma 5-S Lean Manufacturing Transactional Lean etc.Have work experience using timekeeping and/or quality control systemsRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Microsoft Access,Quality Assurance,Data Collection,HEDIS,ISO 9001,Root cause Analysis,Medical office experience,Quality Systems,Nursing,Quality Control,Quality Management,Manufacturing Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
