Key Responsibilities Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues. Develop implement and maintain quality control plans FMEAs and other quality documentation. Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949). Utilize statistical methods (e.g. SPC process capability studies) for process monitoring and improvement. Support new product introduction through APQP and PPAP processes. Manage supplier quality performance including audits and non-conformance resolution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing) or a related technical field. 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC Root Cause Analysis 8D). Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and their implementation. Demonstrated ability to lead problem-solving initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Experience with GD&T metrology and various inspection techniques. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with statistical software packages (e.g. Minitab JMP). Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 AS9100 or IATF 16949. Experience with advanced data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g. SQL Python R).
