The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Portage region seeking Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop implement and maintain quality control plans and procedures. Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends drive continuous improvement and report on quality performance. Support new product introduction (NPI) activities ensuring quality requirements are met from design to production. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to optimize processes and reduce defects. Manage supplier quality including qualification performance monitoring and issue resolution. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. X years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. SPC FMEA MSA Root Cause Analysis Control Plans). Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949). Demonstrated ability to analyze data identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
