The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Walker region seeking Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control plans procedures and standards. Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor manufacturing processes to identify and resolve quality non-conformances. Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reliability. Analyze quality data identify trends and generate reports for continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities including APQP and PPAP submissions. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Industrial Mechanical Manufacturing) or a related technical field. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and their application. Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA PPAP 8D 5 Whys). Demonstrated ability to apply statistical methods for process control data analysis and problem-solving. Experience with root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Certification or practical experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
