DIRECT HIRE:A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector I to join a dynamic team in the Manchester CT. area.Salary Range:$20hr - $28hrSchedule:M - F 7am - 4:30pmBenefits:Health dental life insurance PTO holidaysRole & Responsibilities:Inspect aerospace parts and components to ensure they meet engineering drawings specifications and customer requirementsUse basic precision measuring tools such as calipers micrometers height gauges and pin gauges to verify part dimensionsPerform receiving in-process and final inspections under the guidance of senior inspectorsRead and interpret blueprints and work instructions to understand inspection criteria and product featuresRecord inspection results accurately in electronic quality systems and maintain proper documentation for traceabilityIdentify nonconforming parts and communicate issues to supervisors machinists or engineers for corrective actionFollow established quality procedures in alignment with AS9100 and aerospace industry standards.Assist with first-article inspections by gathering measurements and completing required paperworkMaintain a clean and organized inspection area and ensure safe handling of aerospace componentsSupport continuous improvement activities by providing feedback on recurring issues or process inconsistenciesWork collaboratively with production engineering and quality teams to ensure consistent product qualityRequired Qualifications:High School DiplomaPreferred Qualifications:Ability to learn to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals and blueprintsAbility to learn to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimalsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram formsDemonstrate a good mechanical aptitudeAbilityto learn the use of inspection tools and gages such as scribes vernier calipers height gages depth gages micrometers cylindrical plugs and thread gages periphery or PI tapes decimal scales indicators inspection fixtures coordinate measuring machine and other automated measuring devicesOnce you apply please text QI1 to for a faster reply.INDH Required Experience:Junior IC Key Skills HR Administration,Access Control System,General Ledger Accounting,Facilities Management,AIX,Courier Delivery Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 20 - 28
