Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20+ per hour
Shift: 2nd shift 3:30pm to 11:30pm Monday thru Friday

What's a typical day as Quality Control Inspector? You'll be:
- Performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of plastic and sheet metal parts, sub-assemblies, and electronic/electro-mechanical components for conformance to customer specifications
- Completing all data entry in real-time and maintaining accurate records in internal databases
- Providing feedback to engineers and documenting quality results
- Obtaining and maintaining drawings and procedures from internal systems
- Conducting inspections on various production lines and stages, including printed circuit board assemblies using IPC-A-610 standards
- Directing rework for applicable products and confirming completion
- Arranging documentation packages for first article requirements and performing process audits to internal standards such as AMS, MOI, and VIP
- Ensuring proper staging and coordination of required processing steps
- Conducting customer quality assurance, in-process, final, or incoming inspections as needed
- Maintaining ESD integrity and cleanliness of work area
- Participating in additional training and potentially training other employees
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold an Associate's Degree in a relevant field (electronics-focus preferred) and have 2+ years of experience in inspection within a high-volume, contract-manufacturing environment
- Possess IPC-A-600/610/620 Certification
- Are familiar with operating a 3D Automated Optical Inspection (3DAOI) machine
- Can perform inspections using blueprints, drawings, and written procedures
- Understand and can use basic electro-mechanical tools (multi-meters, calipers, hand tools, etc.)
- Have experience interpreting detailed drawings, schematics, and diagrams
- Are skilled in using ERP systems and have basic computer, problem-solving, and mathematical skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational, reading comprehension, written, and verbal communication skills
- Are self-motivated, able to work independently, and maintain a high degree of accuracy and detail
- Have experience in high-volume work environments and can effectively operate in a dynamic, multi-tasking setting
- Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Have ESD training; ISO 9001 experience is a plus
- Are a US Person as defined in 22 CFR Part 120.15 (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or temporary resident granted amnesty)
