Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMetallized Carbon Corporation is currently seeking a - QUALITY INSPECTOR Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in a fast-paced carbon graphite manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision measuring tools, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a commitment to product excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of carbon graphite productsUse precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicatorsInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specificationsDocument inspection results accurately using quality records, reports, and checklistsIdentify and report non-conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actionsWork closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issuesSupport calibration of inspection tools and equipmentMaintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety and quality policiesOther duties as assigned QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in quality or manufacturing preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong understanding of mechanical inspection methods Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsProficient in the use of inspection tools and gaugesBasic computer skills for data entry and reportingStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periodsMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs and handle delicate materials carefullyManual dexterity required for operating precision instruments About Metallized Carbon Corporation For over 70 years now Metallized Carbon Corporation has been the leader in manufactured engineered carbon graphite solutions for severe service lubrication.
