Learn more at .Quality Inspector Position SummaryThe Quality Inspector performs first piece in-process inspections and final inspections of components and assemblies per control/quality plans. The Quality Inspector will review and approve final release documentation. Performs incoming inspections per control/quality plans for received materials. This role will also complete appropriate quality records within company and GMP guidelines policies and procedures.Shifts Available:3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30 am Sun-ThursResponsibilitiesInspection of received materials components and assemblies relating to quality appearance and performanceInterpret and accurately document the results of the inspections and testing Report and isolate non-conforming product Use a variety of inspection measurement tools and gages (Micrometer Caliper Gage Pins Indicators Thread Gages Profilometer Optical Comparator Microscopes)Operate various precision testing equipment including but not limited to Tool Scope CMM and Vision systemsSupport and comply with the company Quality System ISO and medical device requirementsRead understand and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing customer service engineering quality and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented maintained and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetings Maintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence Program Complete all other work duties as assignedAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentQualificationsBasic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenanceRead and comprehend customer supplied drawings and specificationsCommunicate inspection results with team membersManage multiple requirements and deadlinesQuickly shift priorities in support of production inspection needsHigh school diploma or equivalent degree (GED)Experience with measuring instruments methods and practices including hand tools and machine devices including CMM and Vision SystemsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)Ability to read comprehend follow and document work instructions standard operating procedures and training documentsMechanical aptitudeDexterity and hand and eye coordinationAttention to detailStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple tasksQuality Inspector Preferred Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of ISO 9001/13485Quality training/certificationsWhat is it like to work at Cretex Medical We recognize the contribution of every individual and promote growth safety and security for all our employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills relevant experience education internal equity business needs and local market conditions.
