Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Overview:We are seeking Quality Inspectors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards through meticulous inspection and testing processes.Duties:Inspect parts visually and dimensionally for conformance to manufacturing drawings, quality control specifications and customer requirements.Must utilize all precision measuring equipment and techniques as applicable including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.Must be able to read drawing/blueprints for inspection requirementsMust have basic computer aptitude skills for entering measurement dataEffectively work with mechanical and electronic inspection tools and devicesWorking knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T)Working knowledge of mylars, optical comparator, thickness gage and profilometerKnowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standardsKnowledge of Six Sigma preferredAble to read blueprints and schematicsPerform AS9102 first article inspection and other extensive inspections per specificationsDocument all inspections in accordance with procedures and processesDevelop and review inspection plansEnsure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptanceMaintain parts history folders, inspection reports and prints/drawingsCalibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipmentPerform visual inspectionPerform hardness and electrical conductivity testing
