Quality Inspector

Location: El Monte, CA

Shift: 1st shift

Overtime: Overtime offered along with a great monthly/annual Bonus Program

Pay: $20-25/hr (DOE)

Job Description:

The Quality Inspector will establish quality standards for various products, read blueprints and specifications to ensure operations meet production standards, recommend necessary adjustments, inspect and test materials using gadgets such as micrometers and calipers, and remove products not meeting standards while recommending strategies for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Establish quality standards for manufactured products.
• Read blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Recommend adjustments to production processes.
• Inspect and test materials and equipment using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Remove non-compliant products and suggest strategies to improve quality.
• Accept or reject finished products based on inspection results.
• Discuss inspection outcomes with the production team.
• Perform random inspections to assess product quality.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in inspection and quality control.
• Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections.
• Understanding of blueprints and specifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and technical proficiency.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arcadia, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
